Kathy Pietro was born and raised in Tuscarawas County. She graduated from New Philadelphia High School and is married to Bob Martinelli a builder and developer. Kathy has four children, Rico, James, Robby, and Anna. Two of the children are in real estate, James works within The Pietro Team and Rico is a senior partner with CRESCO Commerical Real Estate in Cleveland, Ohio. Robby and Anna are still in school, but enjoy working with mom and dad and playing sports.
Kathy started her real estate career in 1985, quickly becoming the top selling agent in Tuscarawas County. She credits her many years as a waitress for her success. What a great way to learn about customer service. She has sold over a thousand homes in her career. Kathy lists, sells and negotiates real estate. She also designs marketing programs.
She was interviewed by Howard Brinton, leading real estate trainer in the United States, in 1992. She began training and doing speaking engagements with him and traveled the United States meeting other top real estate agents for about 10 years.
In 1993, she opened Experts Realty and quickly became the top office in Tuscarawas County.
Kathy and her husband, Bob, have developed many neighborhoods such as Becker Creek, Oak Shadows, Dogwood Heights, Aspen Woods, Carmella Drive (named after Bob's mother), Easy Street, and Howard Drive (named after Kathy's father). Kathy and Bob are active in the condominium market and also home building.
Kathy is very committed to supporting Tuscarawas County. Some of the charities she is involved in are: The Tuscarawas County Senior Center (active board member), Tuscarawas County Center for the arts (vice president of the board), Tuscarawas County Central Catholic, numerous youth sports, and several other non-profit organizations.
